- 30 minutes + (10min paper based or 2min on computer for quick recheck)
- 4 sections x 10 questions
- first 2 sections are social (easiest) , and the last 2 are academic
- 30 seconds before each part use them effectively
- understand the instructions
- highlight the keywords (questions, nouns, verbs, locations, special meaning words you think the listening will mention them)
- expect the type of answers you will get
- Each part of the 4 parts may be split into two sections, the first section is after 30 seconds as the previous point mentions to prepare first 4-5 questions then it gives you 10-20 seconds to prepare the rest of the questions
- Focus on the answers and not to understand everything
TIP
The Listening section has four parts, with 10 questions in each part. The questions are in the same order as the information in the recording, so the answer to the first question will be before the answer to the second question, and so on.
